I retired after 25 years on Wall Street with Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and Alex Brown and Sons with an emphasis on alternative investments strategies such as private equity and limited partnerships. Since that time, I have maintained many established client relationships while being introduced to a number of exciting start-up companies holding great promise.

As I became more familiar with these companies, I realized that passive ownership through private equity offerings could provide diversity to the traditional portfolio of stocks, bonds and real estate. Investors could also take pride in contributing to the development of companies bringing solutions to healthcare and green technology. As a conduit to connect these companies with needed investors, I could take great satisfaction in helping great ideas become great companies. Companies that can improve our quality of life.
